Name: Jeffrey Abbot
Age: 61
Occupation: Janitor
Description: he has very little hair – a couple on the top, and a little around the sides.  His skin is very warn and wrinkled, and he has a fair few moles/freckles.  His eyes are droopy, and he kinda looks like a blood hound (which is funny seeing as he owns one).  He has the warmest smile, but when it’s large, it gets scary as you can see all his teeth – which aren’t a pretty sight.  He’s ‘nicely’ over weight, but his skin still hangs lose in places.  He’s always wearing tartan shirts and light coloured trousers, with shoes that remind everyone of slippers, yet he insists they’re not.  He walks with his back hunched, and is, in fact, developing a small humpback.  He shuffles along with his trolley and rarely seems to be actually cleaning anything.  He has big, whisker-like eyebrows that the kids call ‘squirrels’ and he doesn’t wear glasses – he has shockingly good eyesight, but his hearing is terrible (he does have a hearing aide though).
Special attributes: can talk for the country.  Good eyesight, and strangely good memory – if you lose something, he’s your man.
Personality:  ‘sweet old man’-type.  He does, however, believe that everyone Asian-looking is Japanese, and therefore secretly plotting everyone’s demise.  He doesn’t – strangely enough – think this about Cain XD, who he refers to as ‘Sunny’ – much to Cain’s disgust.  He loves ‘candy’ as he calls it, but it’s usually just plane liquorish.  His favourite singer is Ella Fitsgeralled, and he loves old, classic Jazz – he claims to have met Louis Armstrong, but as no-one seems to know who he is, they don’t question him on it.  He’ll often humm to himself as he walks down the corridors.  He’s very willing to help out, and very thankful for his job at the school.  He’s not one of these ‘youths today… yadda yadda yadda they’re so terrible…ect.’ Types, and he loves to watch them all grow up.

Affiliated with?: all the children.  He takes an instant liking to Blake’s mother though, as she reminds him of his wife when they were young
School?: works in the children’s school.
Background/Past: He’s lived in that town his entire life, except for the time he was sent to war – he didn’t participate in any specific part of it, but he often refers to it all during one of his ramblings, and you can tell he seems to miss those times.  He used to be a hunter, and could shoot a running dear at 600 yards, but now his hands are too frail, and he can’t hold the gun steady.  He seems to have no friends, but when he talks about his past he seems to have had many from the area.  He believes the town sees him as a nuisance, as there aren’t many ‘old folk’ left, and he’s grateful that they allow him to stay on.
Parents/Family life: He was married for 40 years, but his wife past away 2 years prior – they had no child, which is a big regret of his – why he works at the school.  His farther was a farmer, but they had to sell it during the depression.
Notes:  I suck at drawing old people, but I’ll see if I can manage to do something later on…  still, kiki was always good at drawing Max so… I’m sure she’ll be great ^.^

First encounter:
I though Blake could meet him during a ‘time of need’ – like if he was running away from someone, or if he sees Cain walking down the corridor and wants to avoid him?  Jeff is very insightful, and I thought it would be a nice introduction to have him say a few things like:
“Yeah, it’s always difficult moving schools, especially when you have to leave behind so much, friends, memories – but you’re young, and you’ve got plenty of time to make new, and even more wonderful ones” – only maybe not quite so corny XD
